What started as curiosity and a little frustration, quickly turned into something much bigger.  Over 8 years ago, I began making candles because I love them, but could't find ones that truly delivered.  What began as a simple hobby soon became a passion, and that passion grew into a small business built with intention and care.  Every candle is hand poured using quailty ingredients and strong, carefully chosen fragrances because I believe a great candle should do more than just look beautiful - it should transform your space.  My goal has always been to create candles that bring comfort, elevate everyday moments, and give you that perfect balance of luxury and value without sacrificing scent or quailty.

Blue Ivy is deeply personal to me.  The name comes from my family name, Ivy, and my favorite color, blue - which also reflects a life shaped by service.  I am a proud Navy and Law Enforcement spouse, married for over 30 years, and I raised our two children while supporting a career built around protecting and serving.  Starting this business gave me the opportunity to create something that was entirely my own.  Along with classic candles, I create wax melts, car diffusers, and custom designs, with other products planned.  When I am not pouring wax, I like to go off-roading in my Jeep and spend time with my two Boxers.
